The work must be original, and not shown before. Dimensions must not exceed 50cm x 50cm x 50cm. Pieces valued over 3,000 EUR are excluded, and each contestant may submit only one piece. There are two categories, traditional and contemporary lace. For adults, first prize is 250 EUR, second prize 100 EUR.  For Young Lacemakers, the prize is 60 EUR. Selected pieces must be sent by the 4th week of 2013, and will be exhibited during the April celebration.

Translating from their website:
Everyone is invited to participate in the lace competition celebrating the LOKK Jubilee, members and non-members, young or not-so-young.  Submit a classic, contemporary, or experimental work, in white or in color, bobbinlace or other techniques. An expert jury will award the prizes. There is a separate category for young people (age 8-15).
“A sea of lace,” the theme for the 35th anniversary of the LOKK, can provide plenty of inspiration for the contest.  The sea, beach, shoreline, flora and fauna in the coastal area offer plenty of opportunities to make a beautiful piece.
