Comments: A large collar of high quality Duchesse, with a few needlelace inserts. Even these are unusual – limited to the background for small bobbin motifs, and a few needle-made branches.  There are also a few nice needlelace jour fillings in some open spaces. The design of the bobbinlace is well outside the usual Duchesse fare, quite a superior piece.  Aside from the color condition appears good. Seller didn’t provide a photo of the whole thing, and also took it laid on a piece of black lace which is a little confusing.

Comments: I’m a bit confused by this piece.  Looks like OK Point de Gaze, but on a machine net ground?  Pictures aren’t too clear. What’s throwing me the most is the 3rd photo down, I guess this is one of the center motifs. Just seems a little different from the others.
