I have finally established a LaceNews facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LaceNews. I have had a personal facebook site under my own name for several years, and have connected with many lace ‘friends’. The new site is a page under the old site, which lets me keep those already established ‘friend’ connections. It is organized as a business, category ‘magazine’, which was the closest category Facebook had in setting this up. As a business site, things are a bit limited, but other people can post on the site, and also make comments on the posts. I am sharing the LaceNews posts on this page, and also have a link to the Pinterest lace links site.
The site was established on August 15, 2013, and I am still figuring out all the ins and outs of Facebook, including whether the present format is the best for our purposes. I hope that it can become more of a discussion forum, but time will tell.
