The theme of this year’s event is marriage, and the results of a competition (20 entries) using that theme will be announced on Sunday at 6:00 PM.
This event also honors lace from Poland, especially the lacemaking town of Bobowa. A course taught by Eva Swpila will be offered Monday morning, followed by a trip to the new Cité de la Dentelle de Calais museum.
This event includes numerous exhibitions, demonstrations, and suppliers. Elke Grossenbaker will speak on collecting German lacemaking equipment Sunday, June 5 from 11:00 to 12:00.
