Comments: ‘V’ shaped collar of Brussels Duchesse – bobbin motifs with needlelace inserts. Nice naturalistic design and good technique. Some of the needlelace is integrated directly with the bobbinlace – no reseau ground. No raised work that I can find, which pupts it more ont he Bruges side. Very good condition, I think I see a few small brown spots, but nothing serious.

Comments: Hmmm. Could be Bucks or Point de Paris – but I’m thrown by the filling. I’d expect more of a honeycomb from Bucks. Very straight edge; I’ll guess Point de Paris.
