Yes, I missed this one, but am posting the notice for archival purposes – and you can look at the photos. This was an exhibition of modern lace by artist Ria Demeyere. ‘Lijnen’ is ‘linen’, and ‘draad’ is ‘wire’, so you can interpret this as you like. It does look like most of the lace is conventional or metalic thread, backed up with ceramics and paintings. Here’s a translation of the text in the poster:
The aim of this exhibition is to show that by applying “lace techniques” in a creative way, artistic objects can be realized. Draadlijnen is a quest for new techniques and materials in lace art. The delicacy and transparency of lace structures are emphasized through the use of paint on canvas and ceramics.
