The Association of Lace and Textiles Multilabores “El Bierzo”, wa born on June 22, 2004, as a non-profit association, at the hands of Carmen Mendez Rodriguez and a group of textile artisans.
Our objectives are to disseminate, promote and investigate all kinds of textile craft, teaching courses and organize exhibitions, shows, conferences, meetings and exhibitions.
Also, as a long-term goal, the Association has proposed the creation of a museum of textile crafts of the region of Bierzo.
Among our activities we highlight the annual celebration, Textiles Multilabores Meeting, which has been a must for artisans around the world.
