Teresa Whitfield’s work involves lace on paper – for this exhibition she is showing 25 works of lace drawn with both black and white ink during the last six years. The work ‘Somerset White Lace’ was commissioned for the exhibition. This brings to mind the elaborate working design drawings that always were a part of the process of making great laces, and which are now too often hidden away in museums.
