Patty Foley, former president of the New England Lace Guild, has embarked on a personal mission to raise the awareness of handmade lace among the general public. Not just to lacemakers, but to those interested in art and fashion, in collecting, and in recovering the past and passing the art to the next generation. She has just completed a half hour interview on “Common Sense Connecticut”, a show on Public Access Television, and will continue to present her recently developed “Lace is Everywhere” lecture throughout the area.
You can see the complete interview at http://tinyurl.com/mvw259t. She is the second guest on the show, so her piece starts about halfway through the video. Patty is also starting to develop a series of shows on lace, and LaceNews will be delighted to track her progress.

Nicely done, and great exposure for those who have no idea about the history of lace. Thank you for posting it.
