Every year the Province of Albacete produces a list of Encuentros for the coming year. In 2014 they list 18 meetings, of which Balazote is one. Unfortunately there isn’t much more information, although I do see records of past meetings, and I do see this one advertised as the 11th version.

June 11, 2014 – It looks like the date of this Encuentro was changed from May 24th to June 14th.  I’m amending the post accordingly.
