The Wolds Lacemakers are a very friendly and extremely active group, including bobbin and needlelace, knitted, tatted or crochet lace. They are based at the southern end of the Yorkshire Wolds, in the area around Hull, with a membership of around 60. The group started in 1985, and 2015 is their 30th anniversary!
Meetings are held 4 times a year (January, March, May and November) at the Marist Hall, Kingston-upon-Hull. Four newsletters are also issued each year. The AGM is at the March meeting. An Annual Lace Day is held in September.  Wolds demonstrators can frequently be found at various other events throughout East Yorkshire. See their website for details.
Annual membership is £7.00.
