A LaceNews reader correctly points out that our community can learn a lot from people who do braiding.  This year’s Braid conference includes two classes on bobbin lace:

“Bobbin Lace in Wire” by Kim Davis. Kim will also give a lecture on “Early Bobbin Lace”.
“Torchon lace making with one stroke sketected geometric pattern” by Junko Samejima.
