This event draws artisans from the Ferrolterra region of A Coruña in Galicia. Participation is broad, including lacework, patchwork, spinning and weaving, and many other arts. About 700 artisans are expected, and about 100 vendors.

About 400 participants are expected. Events include a performance by the Escuela Municipal de Folklore “La Barquía” de Astillero, a raffle, and gifts for participants. A fellowship meal will follow the Encuentro.  A portion of the proceeds will go to the Caritas Astellero y Caritas Guarnizo for their commendable work helping the disadvantaged.
