Current offer: $100.00, 1 bids
Auction ends: Nov 26, 2010 18:52:42 PST
Offered by: Ebay Seller thejaxon5, Corvallis, Oregon, USA
Comments: Nice high roller pillow with velour cover. Don’t know where it was made, but the material bears a little similarity to things people bought from ‘The Lacemaker Shop’ in Courtland, Washington State. Excellent product, looks in good shape.

Current offer: 199.00 EUR, no bids
Auction ends: Dec 05, 2010 10:03:16 PST
Offered by: Ebay Seller Holz-Klaus, Görlitz, Germany
Comments: Good German Klöppelständer, nicely painted. Looks worn in the right places. Pegged construction. A few wormholes. I like the cover on the pillow, it’s a good match to the stand – don’t know if it is original to the piece.

Comments: This looks like a typical Normandy pillow – they don’t come up for sale often at all. A little small, but in very good condition.

Current offer: 32.00 GBP, 3 bids
Auction ends: Nov 28, 2010 11:28:51 PST
Offered by: Ebay Seller derbeatle, Cheltenham, UK
Comments: I’m not a great fan of this kind of lace, but I do like the form. And the fact that the needlelace rose petals have some pattern in their ‘clothwork’. Unusual for a piece like this.

Current offer: 24.99 GBP, no bids
Auction ends: Nov 29, 2010 09:38:28 PST
Offered by: Ebay Seller discover4, London
Comments: Nice collar, interesting combination of the early ‘horseshoe’ pattern with raised rings, anticipating the ‘rose of sharon’ pattern, with tightly worked tightly worked larger flowers and leaves on the outside.
Did not sell. Relisted, sold for 27.60 GBP.

Current offer: 36.05 GBP, 10 bids
Auction ends: Nov 30, 2010 12:00:00 PST
Offered by: Ebay Seller Baraud, Newton Abbot, UK
Comments: This isn’t the first time something like this has recently come on the market. See the piece sold by the Mendes at http://www.mendes.co.uk/lace.fans.html, fourth piece from the bottom of the page.
The Mendes example
It certainly is interesting with all the figures. I don’t know how early it is – I suspect 19th century. The fan sticks here may have been shortened to accommodate the piece – there’s not enough detail in the posting to tell. The piece does have some condition issues where attached to the fan sticks. I suspect these pieces are actually fan leaves – if they were collars I think the motifs would be rotated 180 degrees.

Auction ends: Dec 02, 2010 09:05:22 PST
Offered by: Josephine Rosenthal, Ebay seller jaruk, Worcester., Worcs., United Kingdom
Comments: Good handkerchief with wonderful needlelace jours that really make a piece like this. Valenciennes edging. Some small holes in the linen, and the monogram doesn’t seem to be the same quality as the rest of the work.

Current offer: $21.00, 2 bids
Auction ends: Dec 02, 2010 09:15:15 PST

Comments: Duchesse with point de gaze doesn’t often lend itself well to handkerchiefs, but this piece is really quite nice. A few holes in the lower right corner, but overall good condition.
