Comments: All of the clothwork is a double buttonhole stitch, which is a little unusual.  The rosettes seem consistent, but not matching, and there’s a lot of variation in the brides, even where they are not repaired.  The bobbinlace along the neckline is a Venise plaited type.  A very interesting piece.

Comments: Difficult to say how old a pillow like this might be. The work looks modern. These Spanish pillows with partially worked pieces come up fairly regularly, although more from Spanish sellers. This one is nicely set up and from what I can see, looks in good condition.
