This year’s festival is being held to honor Croatia’s accession to the European Union. It is a major event. It is drawing participants from around Eastern Europe. Click here to download the agenda: Lepoglava

A few of the events include:
Demonstration of necanja, a lace technique from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Lace exhibitions and demonstrations from Hvar, Lepoglava, Pag, Kiskunhalas and Slovenia. Exhibitions from various lace collections at monasteries. Exhibitions from the
“Museo del encaje de Castilla y León ” (Spain) and the Association” Kant in
Vlaanderen vzw ” ( Belgium )
A lecture on “Lace and Men” by Lothar Stang
Secret Speech fan … – lace fans from the collection Annelise Wienands and Marianne Stang
Many events for children, quite a few musical performances.
