Bonhams has four specialist Textile auctions per year held in conjunction with the ‘Oak’ sales. Condition reports can be requested separately for all lots.
In January the laces include lots 553-566 and 561-566 are bobbins. Not much lace at all, but look at the Point de Gaze bertha, lot 555, and a good Beds collar, lot 556. Lot 607 is a late 17th century sample with some reticella cutwork. This is a big sale, and lots 131 will start on the second day, January 22nd.
