Currently the Drouot auction house in Paris has the largest lace sales in the world, and I regularly post notices of their sales on LaceNews. Today they sent around this notice – I don’t know how many of you have formally registered with Drouot, but if you have, beware.
The Drouot group has detected an ongoing attack against its web infrastructures on the 29th of April evening. Immediate actions taken on the same day successfully stopped the attack a little before 8Pm.
An extensive review of the attack has been performed, no banking information has been compromised. However, the pirates may have had access to credential information used on the following services :
