This event typically draws about 180 participants from the provinces of Madrid and Guadalajara. There will also be an exhibition of works by the Horche lacemakers in the auditorium of the town hall.  There will also be a Fellowship Meal at La Canada de Horche after the Encuentro. All participants will also receive a jar of honey.
This year there will be a special award given to the best work in progress during the meeting. Interesting, this is not the first time a ‘work in progress’ award is being given in Spanish Encuentros, but it seems to be something only starting in 2015.
