“Lace Inspirations”, An exhibition of lace by members of the Edinburgh Lace Club, Past & Present

This exhibition is in celebration of the Edinburgh Lace Club’s 35th Anniversary. There will be lace of many varieties and styles, ranging from the traditional to ground-breaking contemporary pieces.  Throughout the exhibition there will be lace making demonstrations and a chance for visitors to have a go at bobbin lace.
The exhibition includes samples of lace made by Kitty Mason, awarded an MBE for “Services to Lace Making” in 2010.
Entrance fee is £2, including refreshments.

The Edinburgh Lace Club has about 50 members, and meets the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:30 to 12:30, except July and August.
