All are welcome to come and join us in making lace (any kind – bobbinlace makers may find a pillow stand useful) whilst riding behind a narrow gauge steam locomotive, or at the nearby Gelert’s Farm Works. Bring current work to do on the train or in the museum. Commemorative bobbins will be available. Free parking, opposite main line railway station, refreshments available in tea room. This year’s aim is to raise funds for new Pickering Brake Van carriage.
