The main event will run three days, with courses and exhibitions up to September 23rd.  This is a more compact format for this event than in past years.

Competition – based on the Spiral theme
– Each design and execution must be done by the entrant
– One work per entrant
– The finished work must be mounted for exhibition
– Packaging must be provided so works can be shipped back after the exhibition
– Registration form must accompany the completed work entry form
– Entrance fee is 10.00 EUR
– No age limits
– Judging will be in four categories – appropriate topic, craftsmanship, layout, overall presentation
– Participants agree that works can be published
Winners and juried works will be exhibited from Sept 18-23, 2105.  The jury is composed of 5 women professionals in lacemaking, and lace research.
Deadline for entries is August 24, 2015.
Awards will be presented on September 18th at 15:00.

It is estimated that there are 20,000 lacemakers in the Erzgebirg.
