The news is that Coutau-Bégarue lace expert Martine Gauvard will be retiring by the end of the year, and will be replaced with Claude Vuille, well known to many LaceNews readers. Claude is currently assisting in the evaluations.

Drouot is an organization of auction houses throughout France, including their main facility, the Hôtel Drouot in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.
