Notes: The laces in this auction run from lots 1 to 52.  Note the following:
Lot 4  Chantilly shawl
Lot 8  An interesting cap back and matching ruffle of Alençon
Lot 24  Very long border of Argentan
Lots 32 to 52 are described as being from the collection of Mme K, an historian and specialist in old lace, author of numerous reference works and catalogs for French national museums.  I think I know who this is, write to me if you are interested in my speculations.
Lot 35 Flat 17th c needlelace border.
Lot 38  Brussels bobbinlace border, ~1740.  Can’t tell what the exact shape is.
Lot 41  Interesting black blonde border, ascribed to Lefébure in Bayeaux.
Lot 43  3 pairs of lappets, Mechlin, Brussels with Droschel ground, Valenciennes, mid 18th c.
Lot 46  Sedan border.
Lot 52  Reticella border and some Gros Point.
