20:00 There will also be a lecture “El Encaje de Bolillos de Almagro como Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad según la UNESCO” by D.Eduardo F. Valencia Ureña.
Almagro is not now on the list of UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage, so something interesting is going on here.

11:00  Floral offering at the Lacemaker monument in the Ejido de Calatrava
11:30  Welcome by the Mayor of Almagro.
Opening of the Encuentro.  Refreshments and gifts will be provided to the participants.
17:00 Guided tour of the city
19:00 Corral de Comedias, theatrical tour
June 12, 2016
11:00 Open house day at the lace museum.

There will also be an photographic exhibition on lace at the Callejon del Villar, sponsored by La asociación cultural almagreña.

Almagro is an extremely important Spanish lacemaking center, and home of the Museo del Encaje la Blonda de Almagro.
