Yes, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted to LaceNews. I’ve been very involved with a new project, the “Northern New Mexico Museum of Lace”. This is now online at https://nnmml.org. take a look! There’s a video that I did for the 2021 IOLI UnCon II which explains the museum: https://nnmml.org/Videos/videos.htm.
I have two other major projects in process, but I hope to get back to LaceNews in the near future. There’s a lot going on in the lace community, which has slowly recovered from the pandemic. In the process of dealing with Covid, many events have gone online primarily with Zoom, and that capability has now successfully integrated itself throughout the lace world.
Thanks so much with all your patience, and I’ll start up the posts soon. One thing, I have stopped the LaceNews participation in Twitter/X, given some personal difference in ideology with the new owner. I might change my mind about that in the future, but not right now. All the other sites are up and running, including https://www.facebook.com/LaceNews (which is a mirror site of this blog), https://www.youtube.com/user/lacenews, and https://www.pinterest.com/LaceNews/. These last two are in need of updating, but I’ll get to it.
