Despite the continuing damage from Hurricane Sandy, Karen and Bob are proceeding with the November auction. There are a number of excellent lace pieces, starting with lot 67. The laces skip around a bit, another set starting at lot 127. A number of very good lappets in lots 67, 71, 127, 129 (nice Point de France), 130, 136. Other lots include fan leafs, collars, and various flounces – see the great Chantilly piece lot 132. I’m surprised at the number of early items.
