2015 Competition:
Use your interpretation of the theme “The Nature of Lace” to create an original piece of lace and/or adapt a pattern. The lace is to be handmade (at any time) by the person entering, using any lace technique including, but not limited to: bobbin lace, tatting, knitting, crocheting, needle laces, Battenberg. The contest will be decided by popular vote of those attending Lace Embrace using the following criteria:
Consistency of stitches
Interpretation of the theme
Overall eye appeal
The Lacemakers Guild of Oklahoma is based in Bartlesville, and has been ative since 1992. They are a chartered member of I.O.L.I., hold monthly meetings, educational programs, demonstration and instruction. Membership is $15/calendar year. embers receive a bi-monthly newletter, and have access to the LGO library.
