Plauen is home to a longstanding machine lace industry, and it has an excellent lace museum. There are many events in this venerable festival, such as:
– Children’s Flea Market (Kinderflohmarkt) on June 11th, 14:00 to 17:00
– Competition, lace experimental headgear flyer_spitzenklamotten_2016
– Programs at the Plauen Lace Museum, June 11th, 14:00 to 16:00
– Selection of the Plauen Lace Princess
– Many sports and music events; this is a celebration for the entire city.
